Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why should I use a pet sitter?
There are numerous benefits to using a pet sitter compared to other pet care
options.  Here are just a few:
Your pet stays in their own home which is familiar & comfortable to them
You don't have to drop off or pick up your pet (good for those pets that aren't
thrilled with taking trips in the car)
They are not exposed to other animals that may have infectious diseases
We can provide numerous "house-sitting" services so your house looks "lived-in"
while you are away
We are licensed, bonded and insured so you can be confident that your pet is
good hands and will be given lots of TLC!

How do I sign up for service?
First, either email or call us and we'll set up a FREE in-home interview so we can
meet your pets, go over their daily routines, and sign the necessary
paperwork.  Once that is completed, just give us the dates you need service and
we take care of the rest!

Who will be watching my pet?
Alex or one of our assistant pet sitters will be providing top notch service for your pet.  We are all highly trained and knowledgeable in the field of pet sitting.

What is the "Ready Key" Program?
The Ready Key Program allows us to keep your house key on file (safe and
secure) so that future key pick-ups can be avoided.  This is very popular with
clients that utilize our services frequently but is open to all clients.  We also
provide a lock-out service in case you accidentally lock yourself out of your
home.  This program can be cancelled at any time and your house key will be
promptly returned to you.

 When is payment due?
Payment for services is due within 10 days of the last service visit.

What happens if our trip gets extended or we come back early?
Changes in travel plans happen and are not a problem!  We'll continue our
service until we are notified of your return or in the case of returning early, we'll
cancel any unnecessary visits.

Can I make a last minute reservation?
Advance notice is always appreciated in scheduling service but we also realize
that unexpected circumstances do arise from time to time so we will always do
our best to accommodate your needs.  For holiday and busy traveling periods,
we recommend you schedule service as soon as possible.

Will you watch pets in your home?
Unfortunately we are not able to board pets in our home .

 Will you stay overnight?
We offer overnight visits but we are unable to spend the entire night in your
home.
